The Gaelic footballer’s of Carn will head to Killygordon on Saturday evening facing a massive game, in which they will fight to preserve their Division 3 status, a mere twelve months after losing out to Inishowen rivals Buncrana in a promotion play off.
Speaking to the Inishowen Independent during the week, Carn boss John Gibbons was expecting a really tough encounter on Saturday. “We have played Red Hugh’s twice this season, with both teams winning at home by very small margins, so I would expect another really close game on Saturday. “We know what to expect from them, and if we give them a lead they will be very hard to break down as they will look to play a very defensive game,” said the Carn boss.
