‘Swing, Jazz And Jigs’ Charity Evening
Featuring The Henry Girls, Lil Ole Wine Drinkers, Tom Byrne, Finbarr on Sunday 20 October At 8pm. Tickets Are €10 each, with an option to book tables of 10, (Tables Are Limited). Alcohol is permitted with guests welcome to bring their own bottle, snacks and nibbles. Tickets are available from Jeanette At The Colgan Hall.

Calling Budding Musicians

Inishowen Artists Unite For The Last Of The Name
Finbarr Doherty, along with other local musicians and artists, brings Charlie McGlinchey into the 21st century. The book ‘The Last Of The Name’ will receive a multimedia treatment/interpretation from this collaboration, with a performance at the Macklin Autumn School On Saturday, 12 October at 4pm at McGrory’s, Culdaff. Carn Tidy Town
Committee wishes to thank all the people who supported their one day sale and raffle recently. The winners of the raffle were Patricia McPherson, Andrew Gallagher, Mary Paul McLaughlin and Maureen Smyth. Many thanks to all the people who so generously donated items for sale and to all the ladies who provided the lovely home baking. Your support is much appreciated.

Support Educating Children In Africa
5th and 6 October Church Gate Collection in aid of building schoolrooms and a medical centre in Nairobi. Orla Dohery (S) will work as a volunteer on the building projects there at a date to be confirmed. The group of volunteers were to travel to Nairobi on 12 October but due to the recent tragic events in the city the volunteers will travel later. All donations welcome. Contact Orla on 086 338 3642.

Quiz In Aid Of Cancer Care West
Lake of Shadows Hotel, Buncrana, on Thursdays 17 October at 9pm. Cancer Care West is a Galway hospice for patients receiving cancer treatments. The quiz will be hosted by Mr Jimmy McCay and there will also be a raffle on the night for many prizes kindly donated by local businesses.

Christmas Craft Fair

Carn Boxing Club
Good as New upstairs in G&S opening mid-October. The club would appreciate everyone giving a little extra push to continue the great progress in there New club House so if you have any items for the shop please give to John at G&S or ring 086 066 5879 to arrange collection. A rota will be drawn up soon to help out in the shop. Opening Mon- Saturday 10am to 4pm.

Inishowen Rugby Club

Donagh Choir
Rehearses Thursdays at 8pm in the Church of the Sacred Heart. New members welcome, ability to read music not necessary. The choir sings at 11am mass, and other ceremonies and concerts throughout the year; contact Helen on 087–974 6450.
