Get free advice at Buncrana meeting
Information evening with tips on legal, taxation issues

Locals from all walks of life across Inishowen are invited to attend an important information evening in Buncrana next week, when invaluable money-saving tips and other crucial advice will be dispensed free of charge.
The meeting, set for the Plaza Ballroom on Tuesday, October 22 at 8.30pm, will see experts, Ray Lannon, of MD White Solicitors, and Alan Crowe, of Crowe McLoughlin & Co. Accountants, on hand with vital information on a variety of legal and taxation matters.
The evening has been organised in conjunction with the Irish Farmers Association and the Inishowen Development Partnership but organisers are keen to stress that it is open to everyone here and not just those involved in agriculture.
Topics to be discussed on the night include wills, succession, inheritance tax and capital taxes.
Councillor Rena Donaghey, who is on the board of the IDP, said the meeting has been organised after a similar event, held in Malin last year proved to be a huge triumph with 144 people in attendance.
“This is the second year of the information evening and it was a massive success last year with many people picking up scores of important tips to improve their circumstances,” she explained.
“We have decided to hold the meeting in Buncrana this time around because we have taken a large number of queries from people in south Inishowen who would like to attend such an event in their area. It’s open to anyone in the community who wishes to avail of some useful free legal or financial advice,” Cllr. Donaghey added.
