Inishowen teams hope to progress in Ulster Junior cup
Ulster Junior Cup 1.30pm
Aileach FC v Illies Celtic
(M McGonigle)
This all Inishowen affair is sure to be a well fought clash with little given or asked. Premier Division Aileach at the lakeside will be firm favourites to dispose of First Division Illies Celtic. Aileach have made a steady start to the league and are unbeaten in their opening three games with the likes of Anthony Doherty, Darren McMonagle and Damien Barr in fine form. Illies after relegation have also made a fine start to the league with three wins and three draws from six league games and only two goals conceded. On home soil aileach are fancied to advance.
Edge: Aileach
Moville Celtic v Rashenny FC (G McLaughlin)
In a similar situation to the Aileach /Illies game Premier Divison Moville will be hot favourites to advance at the expense of First Division Rashenny. Rashenny have already dumped Moville from the midweek Charlie O Donnell competition and the home side will need to be careful. They have been missing the influential Shane Canning for the last number of weeks through injury and they will need him back in the fold. Rashenny always display great fight and spirit and never give up to the final whistle. John Doherty will hope they can get ahead early in the game but on form Moville are fancied.
Edge: Moville
