The wedding of Anne Doherty, Ballybegley, Newtowncunningham, and Andrew Allison, Gortflugh, Rathmullen, took place on Saturday 21 September at 1pm in Newtowncunningham Presbyterian Church. The bride was given away by her father, Sam Doherty and was attended by bridesmaids, Gail Doherty, Emma Dillion, Wendy McDonald and Elizabeth Allison. Bestmen were, William Allison, Paul Dillion, Joseph Patton and Stephen O’Reilly. Flowergirls were, Seana McDonald, Lilly-Ella Dillion and Heidi Dillion. Junior groomsman was Shane McDonald. The wedding ceremony was celebrated by the Rev Nigel Craig and assisted by Rev Janice Brown. Lessons were read by Liam McDonald and James Blaney; a reflection was read by Shane McDonald. The music was provided by Sinead Black. The bridal party and guests enjoyed the reception in Jackson’s Hotel, Ballybofey.
