Although the scoreline may suggest that this was a tight affair, in truth Aileach were comfortable winners and should really have won the game by a more convincing margin.
A first half Stephen O Donnell penalty was the difference in the end, and but for an O Donnell missed penalty and some sloppy finishing it should’ve been more comfortable for the visitors.
It was Aileach who started the game the brighter and Rurai Bradley was first to threaten when he cut in from the right and tested Sean Parker with a left foot drive that the keeper did well to hold.
Emmet Dunphy had the first Dunree attempt when he picked the ball up from a throw in and turned well in the box before firing straight at Mark McElhinney in the away goal.
