Calls to keep Buncrana Town Council building open

‘We need an administrative centre for south Inishowen’
INISHOWEN councillors have called for the Council to keep the Town Council building in Buncrana as an administrative centre for South Inishowen when the former Urban Council is abolished next year.
Speaking at a meeting of the Inishowen Electoral in Carn on Tuesday, Councillor Jack Murray called for the council to keep the building open after the Town Council is abolished.
He said it would be a good administrative centre for people in South Inishowen, namely Buncrana, Fahan and Burnfoot and would allow them to renew their motor tax and use other services there.
