Cockhill handed difficult draw in Intermediate Cup third round

Ulster Senior League champions Cockhill Celtic have been handed a difficult away tie against current Leinster Senior League table toppers Crumlin United in the third round of the FAI Intermediate Cup.
Speaking to the Inishowen Independent yesterday, Cockhill boss Donal O’Brien acknowledged that his team have been handed a difficult task, but he feels it is one they can come through. “Obviously we could’ve been given an easier draw but we will just get on with it now and prepare as best we possibly can to be able to go down to Dublin and give this a right good shot.”
These two sides met back in 2010 and the Dublin side came away with a 3-1 win, but O’Brien believes this will have no bearing on the game. “They beat us 3-1 down there a few years ago, but we have signed a lot of players since then and I feel that we are in a much stronger position now, to go down there and give them a real good game” said O’Brien.
