Delight as infamous Muff housing estate is finished

Ard Ban on the right road at last

Ard Ban2

THERE was delight in Muff this week as one of the peninsula’s worst unfinished housing estates was finished by Donegal County Council this week.

The residents of Ard Ban in Muff had spent years stuck between receivers, contractors and Donegal County Council but finally work in the housing estate has now been completed. Local councillor Mickey Doherty exclaimed that the ‘whole estate was complete’ including play and recreational areas and that two social houses have been handed over to the Council as part of the original conditions.

He says these two houses are ready to rent and house families in need. The Quigley’s Point councillor said it was great to see the estate finished and complimented Paul Kelly and the rest of the planning department for their “tremendous work”.
