Moville Gaelscoil set to move to permanent new home

Substantial six-figure sum secured to refurbish St. Joseph’s Boys NS
The pupils and staff of the Moville Gaelscoil are celebrating this week after learning that the school is set to move to a new home at the former St. Joseph’s Boys NS in the town.
First opened in 2000, the Irish school has operated out of temporary premises, including prefabs, at the local GAA ground but has now secured a substantial six-figure government grant for a permanent relocation.
It is hoped that significant upgrade works to the existing St. Joseph’s NS building, which has remained vacant since Scoil Eoghain opened in 2009, will be completed in time for the Gaelscoil pupils to begin lessons there in September 2014.
