Muff to get new traffic lights?

Council confirms it will install pedestrian crossing but only if businesses agree
MUFF will get new traffic lights, should the community and business want them, a senior engineer within the Donegal County Council has stated.
Following a proposal by councillor Jack Murray at the bi-monthly meeting of the Inishowen Electoral Area to have a full pedestrian crossing in Muff, Roads Engineer Charlie Kerr said they can install traffic lights early next year but he said there must be agreement from all the businesses.
Cllr. Murray said it was a “very serious issue” and it was only a “matter of time” before there was an accident in the village.
