Urris will play Division 3 football next season after beating Burt by five points in the promotion play-off on Saturday.
The game was half an hour late in starting with referee Ian Molloy arriving late at the Scarvey, and when it finally got under way Burt settled a little quicker with Conor Harkin and Joe Boyle on the mark from free kicks.
Points from Donal Kelly and Eddie Kelly (a free) had Urris level by the 18th minute and two quickfire points in less than a minute from Jason Doherty and Alan Friel put daylight between the sides.
With their defence on top and breaking forward at will, Alan Friel and Kevin McLaughlin were both on the mark to give Urris an 0-6 to 0-2 half time lead.
A Joe Boyle free, and a Ciaran Dowds point – Burt’s only score from play – within five minutes of the restart suggested Burt might make a game of it, but again Urris took charge with former county panellist Eddie Kelly – who flew in from England specially for the play-off – hitting two points on either side of a Kevin McLaughlin free.
Burt were given a lifeline in the shape of a 54th minute penalty kick, but Enda McDermott’s effort from 11 metres flew over Kieran Friel’s crossbar and the margin stood at four points.
Burt kept searching for the goal they needed to spark a comeback, but efforts from Dowds, Harkin and Paul McHugh all went abegging and with Kevin McLaughlin hitting an injury time point to pu five between the teams, Urris will join league champions Milford in Division 3 next year.
