Gym regulars raise money for Irish prostate cancer
MOVEMBER brings men of all ages together, and for a group of 15 blokes in Moville it was no different.
Last month, Harry McQuillan, owner and trainer at HMQ Fitness in Moville, came up with an idea to bring together a group of his usual clients and raise money and awareness for an important issue, which is close to them all – men’s health.
And after a gruelling month of trying to perfect the perfect moustache, the group not only had 15 impressive ‘tashes’ but they also had gathered up €3,600 to done to the Irish Cancer Society charity – Action Prostate Cancer.
Although the men had fun throughout the month to see who could grow the best ‘mo’, they were always aware of the importance of Movember in raising awareness for men’s health.
