Eoin and John set to dye their hair for charity
Two big-hearted Buncrana schoolboys whose families have been affected by cancer in recent years are set to dye their hair to raise money for sufferers
Ten-year-olds, John Jackson and Eoin McGlinchey, are hoping to raise as much money as possible for the Irish Cancer Society in the coming months in a bid to help others.
Inspired by Today FM’s ‘Shave or Dye’ campaign, the Scoil Iosagain fifth class pupils are set to colour their hair on Thursday May 1 next but they will continue gathering donations through September.
In the next few weeks they will stage a number of charity collections, including a bucket collection at Buncrana SuperValu as well as a number of door-to-door collections around the town. They also hope to secure some sponsorship from local businesses.
