Councillors fear job losses and reduction of services in Inishowen
FEARS are growing over Carndonagh’s Public Service Centre this week after a number of local councillors expressed concerns that they could lose a number of fulltime staff.
The shift in local government could also see new further services be removed from the central building in Carn to the County House in Lifford.
Speaking at the first meeting of the Inishowen Municipal District, Culdaff councillor Bernard McGuinness said he was seriously concerned about rumours he heard that Carn could lose two staff members.
