Locally-made costumes to be seen by millions on BBC soap
An Inishowen textile firm has scored a major showbiz coup by securing a contract to make costumes for one of the world’s most popular television shows.
Moville Clothing Company will supply the outfits for a brand new mystery character, set to appear in the BBC soap Eastenders for the first time next month.
The makers of the programme, watched by millions of viewers every week, remained tight-lipped this week on the identity of the new character, who is described only as ‘a handsome hospital chaplain about to step into the limelight’.
But one thing that is certain is that the new star will be wearing clergy shirts, expertly crafted at the family-owned Moville Clothing business.
