Violent video games pressure our kids

Children as young as eleven are coming under pressure from their peers to play violent video games unsuitable for under-18s.
Buncrana father Daniel McGonigle claims his eleven-year-old son is being pressurised into playing ‘Grand Theft Auto’, a game that includes gruesome murders and scantily clad hookers.
“I didn’t realise what this game entailed until I saw my son playing it. I immediately took the game from him and forbade him from playing it,” Daniel said.
He went on: “My son has come under pressure from his classmates because he is not playing it. I would estimate that out of the class of 24 there are only about four who are not allowed to play it.”
