Gardaí are this morning investigating a double murder at Churchtown, Carndonagh.
The body of a man and woman in their 70s, believed to be husband and wife, were discovered at their home in Carndonagh shortly after 9am this morning.
A short time later a man in his 40s was arrested, and he is being questioned at Buncrana Garda Station.
The scene has been preserved pending a Garda forensic examination.
The office of the State Pathologist has been informed.
