Inishowen businesses ‘as competitive as ever’

Bridgend pharmacist says we can compete with the North despite decline in Sterling value
A local businessman says Inishowen remains ‘as competitive as ever’ despite the recent collapse in Sterling following the Brexit referendum.
Bridgend pharmacist Feilim Henry says those who ‘shop around’ will continue to find value on both sides of the border.
Mr Henry says a ‘current period of flux’ in terms of currency strength doesn’t alter the principle that businesses in Inishowen will continue to offer high quality products at competitive prices.
“When it comes to the border, it’s not as straightforward as saying that things are cheaper on one side or the other. If you shop around you will find value.”
“You have to use the border to your advantage and people who live in the area know that,” he said.
