‘This makes a laughing stock of our public administration system. It’s an embarrassment’ – MacLochlainn

Inishowen Senator Pádraig MacLochlainn has expressed his ongoing frustration that families from the Urris area continue to be denied the right to send their children to Carn Community School under the Department of Education’s school transport scheme.

Under the bus scheme, Buncrana has been deemed to be nearer to Urris than Carn, which means that the latter is not eligible for free school transport.
