Teachers and students at Carndonagh Community School will glow orange this Friday to promote a positive mental health message.
The #SchoolsGoOrange day is part of the Cycle Against Suicide campaign and will see schools across the country spread the message: ‘It’s okay not to feel okay, and it’s absolutely okay to ask for help’.
There will be a ‘staff spin-in’ with an orange theme, while orange ribbons will be distributed throughout the school.
There will also be a balloon release to remember friends and family members lost to suicide, with each of the 43 classes in the school represented.
