‘Best ever’ reaction to Garda pleas

THE INISHOWEN community has rallied together to help gardaí find the cause of the fatal crash in Malin last Monday night.

Local father of two John McLaughlin, who was travelling from his work towards Malin for underage GAA training, was killed in the two vehicle collision at Strand Head, Malin around 6pm.

The other driver, a local man in his twenties, was uninjured.

Speaking to the ‘Inishowen Independent’ Superintendent Eugene McGovern confirmed there have been no arrests to date and that he could not comment on the investigation further.
