‘He has given Donegal football a great platform’
PREMIER LEAGUE footballer and Ireland captain Seamus Coleman is set to received the highest honour in the county – the freedom of Donegal.
County Councillors voted unanimously to bestow him with the Freedom of Donegal for his achievements in football at the monthly meeting of the Council in Lifford yesterday.
Throughout the past number of years the Everton star has become one of the most sought after right backs in the Premier League and is often linked with a big money move to Manchester United.
