Brexit leaves teachers ‘very vulnerable’


TEACHERS IN Inishowen have been left in a ‘very vulnerable’ position because of Brexit – says the Irish National Teachers Organisation (INTO).

Fears over the implications of Brexit within the teaching community were evident at the recent INTO conference held in Belfast last week. .

Diarmuid Walsh, principal of St Mary’s National School in Malin Head, and INTO media spokesperson for the North West, said teachers both North and South of the border are concerned over the implications of Brexit.
