Fundraising quiz this Friday to raise money for Crumlin Children’s Hospital
It was last Christmas Eve when life for an Inishowen family was turned upside down.
Greencastle dad Duncan Moir was in Derry for some last-minute shopping when he got a phone call from the consultants at Letterkenny Hospital.
They suspected that his teenage daughter Jessica had cancer.
A day earlier the fourteen-year-old had attended her local doctor with a small lump on her neck.
“They took us into a room and told us what their suspicions were. They said to confirm it, they would have to send Jessica by ambulance that night to Crumlin.”
