Hairdresser’s burglary is ‘latest casualty’ in Carn


ONE OF INISHOWEN’s top cops has warned business owners in Carndonagh to be extra vigilant following a spate of break ins in the town in recent weeks.

Carolina’s Hair and Make-up Salon became the latest victim of a Carn burglary last Thursday morning after she made the discovery when opening her premises on Chapel Street that morning.

Garda Inspector David Murphy told the ‘Inishowen Independent’ that the thieves made off with a small sum of cash from the popular hairdresser’s shop. However he said as it was a ‘forced entry’ there was damage done to the building as well.
