Leaving Cert gets underway in Inishowen tomorrow

488 local students sitting the Leaving with more than 500 doing their Junior Cert
A total of 488 pupils will sit the Leaving Certificate with exams getting underway at Inishowen’s five secondary schools today.
Typically Carndonagh Community School has the highest number of pupils taking the State test with 205, while 103 students from Scoil Mhuire and 93 from Crana College will also sit the exam.
At Moville Community College a total of 82 pupils will sit the Leaving Cert while Inishowen’s only Irish-speaking secondary, Colaiste Chineal Eoghain, has five students taking their finals.
