However solicitor fears that town could now lose out on circuit court sittings
A local solicitor has thanked a retiring judge for “all he has done” for Buncrana during his time on the bench.
Circuit Court Judge John O’Hagan was sitting for the final time in Inishowen last week, when Ciaran MacLochlainn praised his contribution to the local economy.
“I thank you for all you have done for Buncrana,” Mr MacLochlainn said.
“It’s hard to fathom how a judge could have affected the local economy in such a positive fashion but you have done that by bringing regular court sittings here from Letterkenny.”
