Motorcyclist lucky to be alive after ‘serious’ Bridgend crash



A MOTORCYCLIST is lucky to be alive after a road traffic collision between a motorbike and a car in the early hours of Sunday morning at Bridgend.

The collision occurred on the main Derry to Letterkenny road at Skeoge, Bridgend around 3am, on Sunday, July 16.

Garda Inspector David Murphy said they are appealing for witnesses who were on the road between 2.30am and 3am and who may have seen the motorcyclist or the car involved.

Describing it as a ‘fairly serious collision’ Insp. Murphy said the young male motorcyclist was very fortunate to escape with non life threatening injuries.
