Four sustain serious injuries in Bridgend attack

 

GARDAÍ are appealing for witnesses after four people were ‘seriously injured’ in an unprovoked and ‘traumatic’ attack at a bar in Bridgend on Saturday night.

Gardaí were called to the scene of a serious assault at the19th Hole Bar in Bridgend after it was reported that a gang of up to ten people, who had been drinking in the premises, attacked a number of patrons.

Superintendent Eugene McGovern said the incident broke out at 11pm on Saturday night at the 19th, which is currently operating out of the former Harry’s Restaurant after a fire devastated the popular pub in Bridgend earlier this year.
