Don’t drink or take drugs and drive – Supt

If you drink and or take drugs and drive, you are likely to get caught.

INISHOWEN’S garda superintendent has said if someone decides to drink or take drugs and drive over the holidays, they are likely to be caught.

Superintendent Eugene McGovern has said gardaí are putting additional resources in place to police the peninsula over Christmas and New Year’s holidays.

Supt McGovern said: “We are asking people to be safe over the holidays and please don’t drink and or take drugs and drive. We have seen a significant rise in drug driving cases in recent times.

“You don’t want to ruin the festive season for you and your loved ones by doing so and the likelihood is, if you drink or take drugs and drive, you will get caught.”
