Established in 2007, the Inishowen Independent is a Buncrana-based weekly newspaper serving Donegal's Inishowen Peninsula.
Locally owned and staffed, and independent of all media groups, the Inishowen Independent provides the best news and sports in Inishowen, all beautifully illustrated by our freelance photographers.
Editor Damian Dowds leads a team of journalists including Caoimhinn Barr, Katie Barr and Gerard McLaughlin. Production manager Evan Logan and Mary Campbell design the newspaper and this website. Led by manager Louise McCloskey, the hard working sales team includes Grace Hirrell, Amanda Doherty, Ann Jackson and Yvonne Curley. General manager Donal Campbell is assisted by Cormac Campbell and Mary Mellon.
