A second half strike from Aidan Cunningham was enough to hand Redcastle a vital league win against relegation rivals Culdaff.
Although the season is still relatively young, this was a real six pointer in the battle to avoid the drop in the Inishowen Premier Division and come the end of the season this could prove to be a massive victory for the Foyle park men.
Culdaff on the other hand will be bitterly disappointed they didn’t come away with at least a share of the spoils as they had the chances, especially in the second period.
It was the away side who were first to threaten through Aidan Cunningham but the young midfielder drove over the bar from 20 yards.
