‘Disgusting’ attack a ‘set-back’ for Muff community play park
Vandals lob hundreds of stones onto expensive children’s play equipment
Vandals described as ‘total idiots’ have caused extensive damage at one of Inishowen’s most successful public playgrounds.
Three separate attacks at Muff community play park over the weekend have left ‘disgusted’ and ‘disappointed’ locals facing a considerable repair bill.
On Friday night a CCTV camera at the children’s facility was smashed while on Saturday a collection box was damaged with a small sum of money stolen.
However the bulk of the damage occurred on Sunday night when at least two individuals damaged the surrounding fence before lobbing hundreds of large stones onto the park below, damaging expensive play equipment.
