Inishowen students shine at Junk Kouture Final

Three top gongs for local schools
THREE sets of INISHOWEN students were jumping for joy last Friday night as they were each named winners at the National Junk Kouture Grand Final in Dublin.
The hard work, dedication and creativity of Carn School pupils Sinead McGonagle, Roisin Doherty and Anne-Marie Brennan and Scoil Mhuire pupils Sarah O’Dwyer, Emma Rose Callaghan and Mariusz Malon paid off after they each received one of the three top prizes.
Tickled by Metallic Glamour, Off the Rails and Locked in Time were the stars of the show on Friday night as they each performed in front of a 4,000 audience at the 02 in Dublin.
Carn School pupils Sinead, Emma Rose and Anne-Marie were named the overall Northern Regional Winner on the night with their design, Tickled by Metallic Glamour. The local girls then saw their design featured on the Saturday Night Show the following evening with Brendan O’Connor.
