Interdenominational service held in Burt
THE Catholic and Protestant Bishops of Derry have expressed sympathy with the families of the two Buncrana teenagers who lost their lives in Saturday morning’s road traffic collision at Quigley’s Point.
At the conclusion of the Bishops’ joint pilgrimage from Gartan to Derry, at a service at St Augustine’s Church of Ireland in Derry on Saturday, Dr Donal McKeown, and the Bishop of Derry and Raphoe, Rt Rev Ken Good expressed their sympathy to the Farrell and Dixon-Gill families on the death of their sons.
The two Bishops completed their 34 mile three day trek on Saturday after walking from St Columba’s birthplace at Gartan to St Augustine’s Church in Derry.
