This area is well known locally for causing tailbacks as traffic competes to enter the Main Street from both St Mary’s Road and Cockhill Road.
Currently, traffic coming from St Mary’s Road has priority coming onto the West End roundabout, contributing to tailbacks on the Cockhill Road.
